​Canada Entrepreneur Immigration Program

British Columbia entrepreneur immigration program

British Columbia (BC) is one of the Canada renowned provinces and also Canada's third largest province. Major cities include Vancouver in Greater Vancouver and Victoria, the capital of British Columbia.

 

The provincial government's entrepreneur immigration program is the BCPNP – Entrepreneur Immigration Program. There are many Chinese aliases for business migration in the market such as the BCPNP Entrepreneur Immigration Program, Business Immigration, Entrepreneur Immigration, Provincial Nominee Program.

The provincial nomination program aims to attract overseas business talents and stimulate local economic development by their business activities. The Canadian federal government grants the BC provincial government the right to independently select candidates and allow the provincial government to nominate applicants who meet the requirements to obtain a Work Permit first, and then formally apply to become a permanent resident of Canada after meeting specific requirements.

Requirements

  • Achieved in the past 10 years

      -At least 3 years of business management experience or

      -At least 4 years of senior management experience or

      -1 year of business management experience and 2 years of senior management experience

  • At least has an education equivalent to 2 years of college or above, or at least 3 years of full ownership and management of the company in the past 5 years

  • Has CAD 600,000 or more net assets, which may include intangible assets and real estate, and may include spouse's assets

  • Explanation on the sources of Fund

  • Provides business plan

  • Exploratory trip and interview in BC

  • Intends to invest at least CAD 200,000 in BC (The company's equity requirement is 1/3 or more)

  • Continuously and actively participates in day-to-day operations and management of the company in BC and creates at least one full-time position for permanent residents or citizens of Canada

 

 

Friendly reminder

  • There is no age restriction for BC entrepreneurial migration path, but it is recommended that the age of applicant be 21 - 64 years old.

  • There is no language requirement for this application, but preferably the applicant reaches English or French level (CLB/NCLC Level 4 or above; IELTS: Listening 5.0 / Speaking 4.0 / Reading 3.5 / Writing 4.0).

  • Applicant can apply for permanent residency in Canada after they have actively participated in day-to-day operation of the business and management for 2 years and complete the terms of the Performance Agreement in BC.
